VBS Children and Parents Information
We are excited to share VBS week with you, June 23rd- June 27th, 2019. Our theme this year is: “ In the WILD: Amazing Encounters with Jesus”! We will discover that each snapshot of Jesus is an opportunity to respond to the gospel, and as we put the encounters together they reveal the most amazing truth of all – Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, and by believing we can have life in His Name!
Come and join in the excitement each evening at 6:30 pm.
Registration Notes: A completed registration form is required for each child participating.
Ways to register;
1. Online Registration is currently open to all. Scroll down to begin.
2. Church Registration will begin on Sunday, June 9th and June 16th in your child’s Sunday School class. Give this completed form to his or her Sunday school teacher.
3. Late Registration will be allowed on the first day of Vacation Bible School when you arrive on June 23rd. (Please arrive by 6:15 pm if you need to complete a form)
PARENTS: ** Please do not bring your child/children before 6:15 pm each evening.** The leadership team will be preparing for your child’s arrival. The leaders will be in the sanctuary at 6:15 pm to meet and greet them. This is a great help to us!
Age 2, 3, and 4’s will dismiss at 8:00 pm each night from the sanctuary. Their last class will be music with Mrs. Stephanie.
**Dismissal for Age 5 through Grade 6**: will be from the Sanctuary at 9:00 pm. Parents: No child will be allowed to leave without you! Please help us keep everyone safe as we leave the church grounds.
Mission Offering: We will collect an offering each evening to help the Baptist Men rebuild homes for people who were impacted by the storms in early fall of 2018. Please allow your child to participate if possible. We will share in an offering during our Family Night celebration on Thursday night so you may participate as well. Thank You!
Food Collection: We have been collecting canned food items for the Food Pantry for several years and it is always a blessing for the children to provide help to community families in need. We ask that each child and adult bring one can of food each night (5 cans) during VBS. We will have boxes for the items. Please make sure that the items have not expired.
We hope this information is helpful to you. Please pray for us as we serve the children during the VBS week and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them. Thank You!
